Late registration is now being accepted for COMPLETED registration packets through Monday, September 19. There is an additional $100 late fee applied to the team registration.

Coaches must also keep copies of the signed AAU cards and Consent to Medical Treatment forms for each player.

Online registrations and completed paper registration packets, including payment, must be in the League Office by September 12, 2011. Partially completed packets will be returned for completion. Teams with completed registration packets will continue being accepted into the League on a space available basis from September 13-19, 2011. A $100 late fee will be applied during this period.
Any team still wanting to register for AAU after the Open Registration Period may do so by submitting a completed Registration Packet and fee between September 13-19, 2011. This fee includes the Team League fee (of $1,300) and a $100 late registration charge. Teams will be accepted into the League during this time on a space available basis.
After the Open Registration Period deadline, completed team rosters are frozen until October 10. From this date through October 14, non-rostered players may be added to increase roster size up to a maximum of fifteen players during the designated Initial Player Addition Period. Please remember that all rostered players are committed to that team for the duration of the League season and may not switch teams. Players may only be rostered on one AAU team. Teams are grade-based and players may play a grade up, but are not allowed to play down. If you require additional player forms, please contact the League Office.
Final player add-ons for participation in the twelve (12) game League Season will
occur during the Final Player Addition Period running November 14 through November

The office will be closed from November 24-27, 2011 for Thanksgiving Holiday.
NEW FOR 2011-2012: EACH MEMBER OF THE COACHING STAFF WILL BE REQUIRED TO WEAR IDENTIFYING CREDENTIALS.
Coaches must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older, unless otherwise approved by the League Office. If the approved coach is less than twenty-one (21) years of age, an adult at least twenty-one (21) years of age must be at the games and practices, and must sit with the coach on the bench. Each coach, assistant coach and/or parent assisting in running practices or games must possess a current AAU coach’s card. A team may only have three (3) coaches (the registered head coach and 2 registered assistants) on the bench during League and tournament games. The team coach is responsible for notifying the league office of changes in coaches, team contacts, mailing addresses, or any other changes that pertain to the team.
Teams that participate in the Spokane AAU League are separate from the organization. The coaches, players, and parents representing each team are responsible for their own monies, practice times, player playing time, designated responsibilities and team policies for that individual team. Spokane AAU provides teams with the service of League play and will not be responsible for the individual team organization or finances.
